This lifting table is the basis for all newly developed GM Powertrain special tools for the assembly and disassembly of engines, gearboxes, HV batteries and chassis components.
With its high stability, in future the lifting table will also be used as a workbench for repairing the dismounted components.
The table-top is divided 60:40, where the smaller part can be pulled out 100 mm. It can be tilted longitudinally and laterally by +/- 3.5° and thereby offers a variety of set-up options. In addition, the table top has 104 threaded holes, where special tools can be positioned or respectively bolted.
The large, 360° rotating castors allow easy manoeuvring. All four castors are braked, two additionally lockable for directional stability.
The two-stage hydraulic foot pump allows fast lifting when unloaded and reduces the necessary pedal force when loaded. The integrated lowering brake valve allows accurate stepless lowering. The pedal can be folded to the top.
The handle can be easily removed and reinserted precisely and in this way facilitates the utilization of the lifting table as a workbench.
In conjunction with the basis frame CH-904, used for all Opel/Vauxhall vehicles since 1996, the table is retroactively compatible for all respective engines/gearboxes and rear axle disassemblies and assemblies.
